Eric Myles Jones is a Denver based artist. Working primarily in acrylic paints, he focuses on portraying the modern American West. Eric grew up in rural Colorado where he spent a lot of time on farms and ranches. As Eric focused his artistic interests, he found that cow’s, chickens and other livestock were frequently subjects. Eric also spent time in Utah where he fell in love with another favorite subject western landscapes. As an artist, Eric is influenced by Early Cubism, Pop, and Impressionism. Eric has had solo shows in Colorado and Utah and has participated in groups shows in the Tennyson, 40 West, and Santa Fe art Districts. Eric has won multiple awards and has had work added to corporate and college collections. He received a BS from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT, where he studied Communications and Art.
Eric is a member of the Kanon Art Collective located in the shadow of Casa Bonita.
